Nadiia Kobetska was appointed as a member of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine by the decision of the High Council of Justice dated June 1, 2023.
She is a professor at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, scholar and lecturer with thirty years of experience. She holds a scientific degree of a Doctor of Juridical Sciences and has authored more than two hundred scientific and educational works in the field of law. Her research and practice interests are focused on the study of legal mechanisms for environmental protection and citizens’ environmental rights. She has gained considerable experience in organizational and managerial work, holding the positions of Head of the Department and Vice-Rector of the University. She has repeatedly participated in accreditation examinations of higher education institutions for the training of specialists in the field of law.
Nadiia Kobetska is a member of the First Chamber and of the First Panel of the Commission. She participates in working groups, established to coordinate certain areas of the Commission’s activities.
