Halyna Shevchuk was appointed as a member of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine from among judges by the decision of the High Council of Justice dated
June 1, 2023.
She graduated from the Law Faculty of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv with a law degree.
Since 1993, she administered justice in the court of the first instance.
From 2002 to February 2024, she worked as a judge of the Ternopil Oblast Court of Appeals. Currently, she is a retired judge.
Halyna Shevchuk is a member of the First Chamber and of the First Panel of the Commission. She participates in working groups, established to coordinate certain areas of the Commission’s activities.
