The subscription campaign to the Journal of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine for the first half of 2021 continues

The Editorial Board of the Journal reports that due to the restrictions provided by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 02, 2020, No. 1198 “On amendments to the resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 04, 2019, No. 1070 and of July 22, 2020, No. 641”, not all concerned had the opportunity to timely subscribe to the scientific and practical legal Journal of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine.

Regular meeting of donors, international technical assistance projects in the field of strengthening the rule of law and judicial authorities took place

On March 5, 2020, with the support of the USAID New Justice Program, a regular meeting of donors, representatives of international technical assistance projects in the field of strengthening rule of law and the judiciary took place.

The Chairman of the High Anticorruption Court Olena Tanasevych, the main speaker of the meeting, told the audience about the interim results of the six months of work of the High Anticorruption Court and about further plans for its development.

The Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court has published the full text of the ruling in case of the competition for judicial positions in local general courts

On January 29, 2020, the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court made a decision in case № 9901/378/19 on declaring illegal and annulling the decision of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine dated July 02, 2019 № 108/dl-19 announcing a competition for the employment of 505 vacant positions of local general courts’ judges for candidates in reserve.

For judge who have successfully passed qualification evaluation, the HCJ will submit an application for appointment to local court

On March 03, 2020, the High Council of Justice considered the materials received from the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine regarding the submission to the President of Ukraine for the appointment of Luniova Olha Hryhoriivna to Vuhledarskyi City Court of Donetsk Region.
