On January 29, 2020, the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court made a decision in case № 9901/378/19 on declaring illegal and annulling the decision of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine dated July 02, 2019 № 108/dl-19 announcing a competition for the employment of 505 vacant positions of local general courts’ judges for candidates in reserve.
Having considered the appeals of the Commission and third parties, the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court upheld their claims, canceled the decision of the Court of Cassation in the Supreme Court dated October 9, 2019, and issued a new decision refusing to satisfy the claims of Mrs. Sofia Danyliv.
