Please be informed that on January 13, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine adopted a decision to admit 410 candidates, who successfully passed the cognitive abilities test, to the third stage of the qualification exam within the competition for vacant positions of judges in appellate courts, announced by the Commission’s decision № 94/zp-23 dated September 14, 2023 (as amended).
Please be informed, that on January 13, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine decided to approve the coded and decoded results of the cognitive ability test taken on January 08, 09 and 10, 2025, by candidates for vacant positions of judges in the courts of appeal (civil specialisation) within the framework of the competition announced by the Commission’s decision № 94/zp-23 dated September 14, 2023 (as amended).
On January 15, 2025, the plenary session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine considered the issue of determining the peculiarities of submitting documents for participation in the selection of local court judges by persons performing military service.
On January 15, 2025, the First Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine considered the issue of submitting a motion recommending the secondment of judges to another court of the same level and specialisation for the administration of justice.

According to part one of Article 55 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges”, by the decision of the High Council of Justice adopted on the basis of a proposal from the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, a judge may, with his/her consent, be seconded to another court of the same level and specialization to administer justice.
