The meeting of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine was attended by 12 members of the Commission: Roman Ihnatov, Ruslan Sydorovych, Mykhailo Bohonis, Liudmyla Volkova, Vitalii Hatseliuk, Nadiia Kobetska, Oleh Koliush, Ruslan Melnyk, Andrii Pasichnyk, Roman Sabodash, Serhii Chumak, Halyna Shevchuk.
The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine decided:
• to submit to the High Council of Justice a proposal to amend the Procedure for the secondment of a judge to another court of the same level and specialization (as a temporary transfer);
• to address the High Council of Justice with a proposal to consider the issue of regulating the mechanism of secondment of a judge without his/her consent, the legal consequences of a judge’s failure to appear to execute a decision on his/her secondment, and the procedure for suspending the work of the court.
A copy of this decision is to be sent to the High Council of Justice and the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine.
