On December 7, 2023 the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, at its meetings, considered upholding the decisions of the Commission’s Panels made within the framework of the qualification evaluation procedure for judges of local and appellate courts for their suitability for the position. In accordance with paragraph 2, part 1 of Article 88 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges”, a decision confirming the ability of that judge (candidate for judicial position) to administer justice in the respective court shall enter into force from the date of adoption of this decision only if this decision is supported by not less than eleven members thereof.
