The First Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine considered the admission of candidates to participate in competitions for 35 vacant positions of local court judges and 7 vacant positions of judges in local general courts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions based on the results of a special background check on 18 October 2023.
These are competitions for candidates for the position of a judge who meets the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On the High Council of Justice”, section III “Final and Transitional Provisions”, clause 13, paragraphs three and seven. These competitions were announced on August 5, 2019, and extended by the Commission on 20 July 2023 from the stage of determining the results of a special background check and admitting candidates to the competition.
The following candidates are allowed to participate in the competition to fill vacant 35 positions of local court judges:
- Kristina Alioshyna;
- Olha Balaklytska;
- Oleksandr Vikhrov;
- Olha Denkovych;
- Andrii Diakiv;
- Volodymyr Zhyla;
- Nazar Karnaukh;
- Dmytro Mazur;
- Ilona Mykhailova;
- Dmytro Miroshnichenko;
- Ruslan Ozadovskyi;
- Andrii Patiievych;
- Vasyl Perepeliuk;
- Olena Perova;
- Olha Prymak-Berezovska;
- Anatolii Selivon;
- Natalia Skrynnikova;
- Taras Yakimets.
The participation of Nelia Otchak and Oksana Kotovska in the above-said competition was terminated.
The Commission further decided to admit Olha Soloviova to participate in the competition for 7 vacant positions of judges in local general courts of Donetsk and Luhansk Regions and to terminate the participation of Olena Holovina in the competition.
