Pursuant to Part Five of Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine “On the High Anti-Corruption Court”, at the initiative of no fewer than three members of the Public Council of International Experts, the issue of compliance of any candidate for the position of judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court with the criteria established by law shall be considered at a special joint meeting of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine and the Public Council of International Experts.
A decision on a candidate’s compliance with the statutory criteria shall be adopted by a majority of the joint composition of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine and the members of the Public Council of International Experts, provided that at least half of the members of the Public Council of International Experts vote in favour of such decision. If no such decision is adopted, the candidate shall be deemed to have ceased participation in the competition.
Please be informed that the special joint meetings of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine and the Public Council of International Experts are scheduled to take place from February 16 to March 17, 2026. Kindly take these dates into account when planning your activities.
