On January 14, 2026, at a plenary session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, the issue of recommending Kateryna Barabash for appointment to the position of judge of the Kamianets-Podilskyi City-Raion Court of Khmelnytskyi Oblast was considered.
The suitability for the position held of a judge appointed for a five-year term prior to the entry into force of the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine (Regarding Justice)” must be assessed in accordance with the procedure established by law.
The judge underwent a qualification assessment and was recognised by the Commission as suitable for the position held. Taking into account the results of the qualification assessment, the Commission adopted a decision to submit a recommendation to the High Council of Justice on the appointment of Kateryna Barabash to the position of judge of the Kamianets-Podilskyi City-Raion Court of Khmelnytskyi Oblast.
