Competition for the Courts of Appeal: One Candidate Confirmed Her Ability to Administer Justice in the Chernihiv Court of Appeal, While Two candidates Failed to Confirm Their Ability to Administer Justice in the Zaporizhzhia Court of Appeal

On November 26, 2025, at the plenary session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, the issue of confirming the ability of two candidates for the position of judge to administer justice in the Zaporizhzhia Court of Appeal and one candidate in the Chernihiv Court of Appeal was considered.

Based on the results of the session, the Commission took the following decisions:

In total, interviews were conducted with 36 candidates for the position of judge in the Chernihiv Court of Appeal: 25 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice in a general court of appeal, 7 candidates failed to confirm it, and interviews with 4 candidates will be held in the plenary session of the Commission.

For the position of judge at the Zaporizhzhia Court of Appeal, interviews were conducted with 32 candidates: 17 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice in a general court of appeal, 11 candidates failed to confirm it, and interviews with 4 candidates will be held in the plenary session of the Commission.
