Following consideration of the recommendations of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine and submissions of the High Council of Justice, on 16 September 2026, by Decrees of the President of Ukraine Nos. 939/2026–942/2026, four judges were appointed to local and appellate courts:
Three candidates were appointed following the competition for positions at appellate courts, announced by the Commission on 14 September 2023:
- Anton Kotliar – to the Zhytomyr Court of Appeal (recommended for appointment as a judge on 29.09.2025);
- Mykhailo Nikolenko – to the Central Commercial Court of Appeal (recommended for appointment as a judge on 15.08.2025);
- Viktoriia Parnenko – to the Sixth Administrative Court of Appeal (recommended for appointment as a judge on 15.08.2025).
One judge whose judicial powers had ceased due to the expiry of his five-year term of appointment:
- Oleksandr Rovynskyi – as a judge of the Commercial Court of Odesa Oblast.
