
On May 20, 2026, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, sitting in plenary session, considered the issue of confirming the ability of one candidate to administer justice at the Kharkiv Court of Appeal and one candidate at the Dnipro Court of Appeal.
Oleksii Zinchenko has confirmed the ability to administer justice at the Kharkiv Court of Appeal.
Olena Samoilenko failed to confirm the ability to administer justice at the Dnipro Court of Appeal.
Please be reminded that 62 candidates submitted applications to participate in the competition for 47 vacant positions of judges in the Kharkiv Court of Appeal.
In total, interviews were conducted with 26 candidates: 22 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice, and 4 candidates will be interviewed by the plenary session of the Commission. The qualification assessment has been suspended for 1 candidate.
At the Dnipro Court of Appeal, 43 candidates submitted applications to participate in the competition for 23 vacant positions of judges.
In total, interviews were conducted with 10 candidates: 7 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice, 1 candidate failed to confirm it, and 2 candidates will be interviewed by the plenary session of the Commission. Two candidates withdrew from the competition.
