The Commission Recommends Secondment of 5 Judges to Other Courts

07.10.2026

On 23 September 2026, at a meeting of the First and Second Chambers of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, the issue of making submissions with recommendations on the secondment of judges to other courts of the same level and specialisation for the administration of justice was considered.

Due to the change in territorial jurisdiction of court cases, the Commission decided to submit to the High Council of Justice recommendations on the secondment, for a period of one year, of:

  • Maryna Cherkashyna, judge of the Bilopillia District Court of Sumy Oblast, to the Sumy District Court of Sumy Oblast;
  • Mykola Skyba, judge of the Toretsk City Court of Donetsk Oblast, to the Samarskyi District Court of Dnipropetrovsk City;
  • Alina Mykhailyk, judge of the Donetsk District Administrative Court, to the Kyiv District Administrative Court;
  • Viacheslav Dmytriiev, judge of the Donetsk District Administrative Court, to the Odesa District Administrative Court.

In addition, due to an excessive court workload, the Commission decided to submit to the High Council of Justice a recommendation on the secondment, for a period of one year, of Yuliia Tananaiska, judge of the Marhanets City and District Court of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, to the Boryspil City and District Court of Kyiv Oblast.

Information on the current procedures for the secondment and early termination of secondment, as well as the early termination of secondment and simultaneous secondment of judges carried out by the Commission, is available in the “Secondment of Judges” subsection of the “Activities” section on the Commission’s official website.
