
On 17 September 2026, the ranking of participants in the competition for 272 vacant judicial positions in local administrative courts, announced by the Commission on 4 August 2026, was compiled.
This competition is a continuation of the selection process for candidates for judicial positions in local courts of administrative specialisation.
A total of 268 candidates and judges applied to the Commission to participate in the competition. Following consideration of their eligibility, 263 persons were admitted to the competition.
Please be reminded, that candidates took a qualification exam as part of the selection process. Key figures:
- A total of 9,339 persons applied to the Commission under the selection process announced on 11 December 2024;
- 3,428 of them intended to take the qualification exam in the administrative specialisation;
- 3,051 persons were admitted to the test on the history of Ukrainian statehood;
- 2,632 persons were admitted to the second stage – the test of general knowledge in the field of law and knowledge in the administrative specialisation;
- 604 persons were admitted to the third stage – the cognitive abilities test;
- 400 persons were admitted to the practical assignment;
- 282 participants successfully passed the qualification exam, including 263 candidates for judicial office and 19 judges.
A total of 242 candidates and judges selected vacant positions in local administrative courts.
The Commission ensured that the ranking procedure was open and transparent. It was broadcast live online on the Commission’s official YouTube channel.
The ranking of the competition participants will be approved and the winners determined by the plenary composition of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine.
