Following the consideration of recommendations of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine and submissions of the High Council of Justice, six judges were appointed to local and appellate courts by Decrees of the President of Ukraine dated
25–26 September 2026 Nos. 957/2026–959/2026 and Nos. 961/2026–963/2026.
Two candidates were appointed following the competition for appellate courts announced by the Commission on 14 September 2023:
- Iryna Hazdaika-Vasylyshyn to the Lviv Court of Appeal (recommended for appointment as a judge on 4 August 2026);
- Dmytro Tsekhan to the Odesa Court of Appeal (recommended for appointment as a judge on 8 June 2026).
Four judges whose powers had been terminated due to the expiry of their five-year term of appointment were appointed:
- Viktor Kytsiuk as judge of the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv;
- Kostiantyn Kobylianskyi as judge of the Kyiv District Administrative Court;
- Oksana Makarenko as judge of the Commercial Court of Kharkiv Oblast;
- Iryna Starosud as judge of the Donetsk District Administrative Court.
