The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine has approved the Methodological Guidelines on Conducting the Regular Assessment of a Judge and the training programmes for judges and representatives of civil society organisations on the regular assessment process, developed by the National School of Judges of Ukraine in accordance with the Regulation on the Regular Assessment of a Judge, approved by the Commission’s Decision No. 181/zp-25 of September 29, 2025.
Under this Regulation, judges and representatives of civil society organisations participating in the regular assessment process are required to complete the relevant training courses provided by the National School of Judges of Ukraine and to familiarise themselves with the Methodological Guidelines.
The procedure governing the participation of representatives of civil society organisations in the regular assessment process is set out in Section V of the Regulation.
The Commission will announce the opening of applications from civil society organisations wishing to participate in the regular assessment of judges, together with details of the required supporting documents, on its official website.
