The administration of the High Anti-Corruption Court was elected

On May 07, 2019, the Chairman of the newly formed court was elected by judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court. That person became Ms. Olena Tanasevych. She was elected by secret ballot by 23 votes of judges. The second candidate, Ms. Olha Salandiak, was supported by 10 judges. Voting for the Chairman of the HACC went through several stages.

Mr. Yevhen Kruk was elected as a Vice-Chairman of the HACC.

At the meeting of judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court, the commencement date was also determined. HACC will officially start working in four months, on Thursday, 5th of September, 2019. During this time, the premises allocated for the High Anti-Corruption Court will be repaired. Meanwhile, the court will temporarily be placed in the Pechersk district court of Kyiv on Khreshchatyk and on Haytsan streets. It is known that according to the law, the investigation and appeal chambers of the HACC are prohibited from working in one building.
